For the Tent Typologies exhibition by Sam Chermayeff Office, presented during Milan Design Week 2024, we were invited to develop and execute a series of custom-made textile structures using a curated selection of fabrics provided by Maharam.Each material came with its own set of technical characteristics — from elasticity to edge behavior — requiring precise craftsmanship and tailored construction methods. We designed unique solutions for every tent, ensuring not only structural integrity but also a refined aesthetic aligned with the conceptual intent of the exhibition.This collaboration reflects our commitment to detail, adaptability, and the ability to meet high aesthetic and technical standards for international design platforms.

In the Demänová Valley, surrounded by nature and the silence of the mountains, chalets were created that combine the raw beauty of massive wood with striking stone walls. Our task was to complement this strong visual framework with delicate textile elements. Airy curtains, soft drapes, elegant bed throws, and decorative cushions brought balance to the interiors, softening their robustness and creating a warm, cozy atmosphere. At Chalet Mineralia, the strength of nature is combined with sensitive design, and thanks to textiles, the space feels thoughtfully crafted yet natural and comfortable.

The interior of the Brezy Apartments in Stará Lesná, situated in a tranquil mountain setting with views of the High Tatras, is designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. In this environment, custom curtains and drapes play a central role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Sheer curtains gently filter daylight from large windows, providing a calm and harmonious environment, ideal for unwinding after a day in the mountains. High-quality drapes provide privacy and coziness in the living and sleeping areas, while bed throws and decorative cushions complement the overall look and enhance comfort. Textile details create a harmonious and inviting space that encourages guests to relax and recharge.

Working within a listed historic building dating back to 1876 required a restrained and thoughtful approach. Our role was to develop bespoke textile solutions that would complement the existing interiors while preserving the villa's architectural identity.

Curtains, drapes, and custom soft furnishings were selected for their texture, colour, and material quality, adding warmth and comfort without competing with the historic character of the space. The result is a timeless interior where textiles quietly support the architecture rather than define it.

The interior of the Horec Apartment House in Tatranská Lomnica combines modern comfort with practical functional zones, including living areas, kitchenettes, and wellness spaces. Here, custom curtains and drapes are essential for light control and privacy, while also enhancing the apartment’s overall aesthetic. Located directly below Chopok in the heart of the Low Tatras, we contributed to the textile completion of the Hotel Srdiečko interiors. Curtains, drapes, bed throws, and cushions were carefully coordinated to create a visually cohesive whole. The same materials were also used on lampshades and chair upholstery, bringing a sense of thoughtfulness and design continuity to the space. In a mountain environment dominated by natural materials and robust architecture, textiles provided a subtle yet characteristic layer of quiet comfort that guests sense even without noticing.

We proudly contributed to the reopening of this historic hotel, where our curtains, drapes, and textile accessories completed the unique character of the space. Thanks to a sensitive selection of materials and attention to detail, we brought life to every room – from elegantly modern to those preserving the historical spirit of the place. Our textiles can be found not only in the hotel rooms but also in the restaurants, bar, and wellness area, contributing to the overall atmosphere, comfort, and visual experience for guests.

We proudly included one of the most iconic symbols of the Tatras in our hotel portfolio – the historic Grandhotel in Starý Smokovec. For this project, we designed and delivered drapes, curtains, decorative cushions, and bed throws made from subtly textured fabrics that appear noble yet soft and cozy. The selected textiles respect the historic character of the hotel while adding contemporary layering and calm. The result is an environment that embodies tradition and comfort, as this exceptional place deserves.
